UCWWV ANNUAL PRAYER BREAKFAST

The fourteenth annual UCWWV Prayer Breakfast was held Saturday

December 5, 2009 at the Marriott Hotel.  Each year women from all over the city of

Charleston gather together to pray for our community, our youth, pastors, churches,

schools, our government, and for one another.  The prayer breakfast is one of the

highlights of the Christmas Season for many who have attended over the years.  

The fellowship with one another and truly  the presence of the Holy Spirit marks

this event a top priority for many.

 The prayer breakfast was well attended in spite of the weather. 

Although it was a cold and snowy day the atmosphere inside was electrified. 

Rev. Deborah Thomas led the praise and worship and

Pastor Beverly Sammons brought forth a timely message.
